I wonder if Zionism is failing. They did a lot to make the world more Anti-Semitic. Especially in Europe where Anti-Semitism fell to the level of 0, they made them import bunch of angry Muslims to keep the levels up. But is it enough?

Problem is that where Jews feel comfy they don't want to move to Israel from there. And if Israel is getting uncomfy then Jews will just move to countries which looks better for them. Diaspora mindset survives and in the end it might win.

It's like marriage.

"Back then" divorce wasn't really an option the Church let it only in exceptional cases. So those who married they had to deal with each other or at least with the fact that they are married, and had to try make the marriage work.

Now that divorce is easy, people can think: sure try this marriage thing, if it doesn't work out (without making an effort) we can just divorce and go on our marry way.

This is the thing with Israel too. Jews can say, hey let's try this Israel thing, if it doesn't work out we can go back, or elsewhere. Nothing really forces them to be there.

Israel is actually very comfy for jews who are religious.

That's the biggest issue, the state and the people are becoming more traditional and less advanced and since Israel doesn't have a constitution at all - there is no backbone to democracy in here.

Technically speaking, Israel(especially after so many years of erosion and shit tier education) could become a theocracy very easily.

So basically most of the people who leave are secular or religious people who go and live in religious communities.

I'm not planning on living in an ex-israeli community nor a Jewish community and so are a vast majority of the many Israelis who left in the last decade or so.
