so i want to buy a flip phone (don't ask) for myself as birthday gift, but i don't know should i invest in good old Motorola RAZR V3 (for 30€ in thrift store), or should i stick to newer (i.e touchscreen ability) Sharp Aquos 601sh (the cheapest option starts from 65€)? (really want to decorate the shit with keychains lol)
if there any better options, lmk!
also, is that a time to invest in psp with games included from thrift store? i don't want to pay gaben for steam deck and buy games separately (´；ω；｀)
i had to play nds games (pokemon ruby, animal crossing, cod black ops, etc) on phone emulator back in school, it's all fun and games till you face specific gameplay features the phone is not adapted to, so gaming experience becomes troubling
plus, to me personally 4:3 screen ratio on phone emulator leaves the black stripes on sides, which is not really a pleasing thing

i had an experience with nokia c310, you could surf the internet and have a keyboard instead of touchscreen, id like to have the similar experience, since aquos has android 5.1.1 and browser option as well
im a little sceptical about motorola though, i just heard it's a phone everybody wanted back then, so my initial plan was to carry flip phone around without a need to check the social media, since, well, you have nothing to check with lolol
also, i heard people use flip phones nowadays as detox product, to shorten the internet consumption

Your xiaomi is already not fun for internet consumption and you feel like you consume too much internet. I bet the sharp aquos will also not be fun for internet consumption so I doubt that anything changes.
If you want to stop it you either should go dumb phone or just learn to limit yourself with a smartphone. I bet there are apps that can limit your internet consumption per day.
kc currently, what i open the most is kc, youtube and telegram, that's all
i tried to get rid of youtube, ngl, but failed as a loser and came back for documentaries and classical music playlists
i could get rid of telegram, but there's a major of people i talk to (friends, family members, work chats etc) , so i don't think it's possible
