I ordered filters that you can discretely put in your nose so I don't get infected by my shitty colleagues that come to work sick. I don't want to be that hypochondriac that sits in front of his pc with an ffp2 mask but I don't want to get infected either.
They don't advertise that it does anything against airborne viruses but maybe it does something.
Since last fall I feel like every about every 2 or 3 weeks one of my colleagues comes in with a light cold after the weekend. And during the week I get it. It is never really bad. Just enough that I get a headache and feel bad for a couple of days. But this cycle never stops. It went like this through the whole summer. It will only get worse when it gets colder.
My manager has long covid and I hear him coughing about once every 5 minutes from the other office.
This is the first time I've experienced a phenomenon like this and this has been going on for almost a year now. You would imagine that the media would pick this up but it's don't. Something is happening.
During the lockdowns I experienced one winter were I did not get sick once because I could work from home full time and wore masks when shopping. It is really great to just not get sick for a year.
