when i smoked my first blunt we watched that gay movie requiem for a dream and i completely passed out in the chair and woke up at the very scene where that old woman gets electroshocked and it immediately triggered some kind of panic attack in me lol, that shit was horrible to see when high out of my mind

fuck the movie itself is hard to watch, i remember her shoving the drugs over and over in herself with upbeat music, discomforting

yeah i watched it again some other time, it sucks tbh. i get the whole drugs are bad mkay kids message but it's way too overdramatized, unauthentic and just goes for that forced silly shock effect

id never watch again willingly, better to rewatch a clockwork orange than that, there's kubrick's work at least
