FinlandAutumn has BegunBernd2024-07-30 17:21:37 · 2yNo. 315762reply
The leaves are falling
An entire week before its time, Autumn is upon us
The Summer has found its sarcofagus
It's over

They are doing something with the seasons I'm telling you, from short outbursts of extreme heat to sudden cold. It's almost as if seasons proper last for a month now instead of 3, and extreme month at that. And the rest is replaced by those weird semi-seasons.

They're doing something with the seasons, I know.

I'm disappointed by this year's summer

Alright, the most sunlight-blessed quarter of the year is over now - that seals the deal on Summer, now no one can deny that Autumn has begun

It has a very catchy energy that seems familiar and I like the message but I can't determine exectly what it is parodying.
This is what humour should be in the 21st century. Splendid.

How can autumn start in August? We are in the middle of summer and you are doing a scandal over a single dry leaf? Come on Suomi, you can do better than that. And here in Guate we do not have autumn and I can still recognize when autumn starts thanks to research.

Even though, if autumn does start today, remember to offer your oblations to the Aki sisters to have a plentiful harvest.
FinlandBernd2024-08-08 17:05:12 · 2yNo. 316370reply
I can tolerate people thinking August is Summer, but considering it the middle of Summer is too absurd
GermanyBernd2024-08-08 18:22:49 · 2yNo. 316374reply
It literally is the middle of summer. Next week we will have 30+ degrees
FinlandBernd2024-08-08 18:55:34 · 2yNo. 316378reply
Midsummer is the middle of Summer
The heat lingers on for too long these days because of greenhousegassin'
FinlandBernd2024-08-08 19:47:57 · 2yNo. 316384reply
I can smell each year the morning that Autumn starts. From that day onwards the air feels and smells different. It has a distinguised and clear difference from the summer day.
GermanyBernd2024-08-08 21:29:12 · 2yNo. 316398reply
It’s not lingering though, it’s a new wave
FinlandBernd2024-08-09 05:24:47 · 2yNo. 316438reply
it is, but the heat travels to and from with the winds and currents

that part of the year in which the sun is able to generate heatwaves is over

This is unironically how the Saami castrate them traditionally (well, almost; they actually just sever the sperm ducts with their teeth and dem ballz remain intact, if I'm not mistaken).
GermanyBernd2024-08-18 16:45:29 · 2yNo. 317051reply
>sever the sperm ducts with their teeth
How the hell they hit them with the teehts?
BulgariaBernd2024-08-18 17:50:04 · 2yNo. 317058reply
They chew at the balls with teeth at the base of the scrotum. I watched some Norwegian documentary about that a few years ago and don't remember the precise details, but the gist was that it has to be done without leaving a wound. It still looked rather painful though.
