My aunt just told my family not to go to the Mexican border, because there are a lot of narcos who kidnap guatemalans, steal their cars and even kidnap their daughters and women. She told us of a man who took her wife and three daughters to Mexico and when they were dining in a restaurant, two armed men told him to give one of her daughters as their boss had took a like on her. They kidnapped her and never saw her again. Please avoid coming to Mexico or Latin America in general, I do not feel safe anymore and it seems its going to get worse.

Its actually more a cultural than a genetic problem, the thing is that the shitty reggaeton and latin trap "music" (murican creative industry courtesy) targets the poor and middle class hispanic-american youth population to brainwash them with their lyrics where they glorify narcos and acting like caribbean niggers (dressing like them, smoking, commiting crimes and consuming drugs), this to keep the population in poverty and ignorance, thats why we need to get rid of liberals and fight this with the the state power, obviously a simple law banning the letrino music, alcohol and cigarretes wont stop people from consuming this completely, so we also have to reinvindicate cultural values
For Guatemalans, yes. But the Cartel Jalisco Nueva Generación (the largest cartel as for now) is entering Guate and spreading their influence and fighting with local cartels. The towns with Mayan-majority people are generally safe.
I wanted to go to a vacation in Tuxtla but since my aunt just told me those stories, I have chose not to go, as I can avoid getting kidnapped by not going there. The mexican president must have links with narcos and our president is a useless piece of shit.
Guess my only options are El Salvador or the US.
