Ignore her?
I dislike my neighbor. She's an obnoxious boomer lady who spreads lies and gossips. Until now I've been nice to her, but secretly I avoid her, I always look out of the window before I leave my flat, so I don't run into her.
Is there anything I can do against such neighbors (nothing illegal please)? Do you have tips how I can avoid talking to her when we accidentally meet outside?
Last summer my neighbors gave me the key to their mailbox and asked me to empty it when they were on vacation.
I did that and after I gave them the key back they asked my what type of sweets I would like so they could buy them for me. I replied that I don't need anything. If I wanted sweets I would just buy them myself. The wife of the guy seemed a little insulted by that statement and told me that I should at least have dinner with them. I didn't reply anything to that and just walked away.
They seem nice but the guy is a smoker and stinks up everything so I don't like them very much. Since then it seems like they don't try to bother me anymore.

don't look at her, don't talk to her, do your thing
avoiding eye contact and looking through people instead of at them yields great results
don't antagonize her
if you're feeling petty you could find out when her birthday is and send her an anonymous birthday card in an envelope filled with glitter
