i can't believe this goofy shit with minecraft flag even existed and now its gone. Its going to be one of those things that you tell young people in 10 years from now, and they gonna be like "Fuck you, you made it up, that didn't existed, you liar! you must have edited wiki to trick me, i refuse to believe this bullshit"

atleast Russia left some impact on the human civilisation - Gagarin, Lenin, Sputnik, Dostoevsky

things that cannot be erased from history even if you try really hard
but to erase Artsakh from memory you don't even need any effort. for a non-country that had ART in its name ARTsakh, they havent made any art, achievment or culture

make a test for yourself, just ask people around you "Hei, do you know what artsakh is?", most of them will think you just pranking them, or talking about food or especially nasty brand of toilet cleaner

In fact, everything is doomed to be erased from history. At some point.

I drunk Artsakh wine once. It was quite good actually, better than I expected so it's there in my memory which can be called an impact I guess.

Saltychikha was the OG serf killa - Elizabeth Batory has nothing on Saltychikha

Good ol' Erzse was likely just done dirty by her enemies. But Saltykova was pretty monstrous indeed.

>Elizabeth Bathory
The usual story is that she tortured and killed 300 (Slovak - ofc) peasant girls, testimonies of witnesses prove that.
The matter of fact is there are 303+4 testimonies recorded, this is where the number comes from. However the 303 is entirely useless. About 2/3 knew nothing incriminating, the rest is hearsay.
The +4 is 4 people from her court, basically her closest servants, 3 women and a man. They told about torture and death of 4 or 5 girls (young adult women). Torture including beating with a stick, burning hands with hot coins, dipping on icy water and such. They also told about funerals. However their testimony was forced by torture, and while they could have been crown witnesses, they were executed before any court hearing.
The countess was never sentenced, she died after four years of house arrest, way after any official procedure took place.
"Some argue" that some of the "torture" was efforts to cure illnesses (like treating high temperature with cold water). Some also mentions that certain deaths were due to epidemic.
Fun thing: when "Good ol' Erzse" was arrested (this event was actually an unlawful act, nobles had certain rights) there were two servant girls in the dungeon - they were never heard out, noone asked for their testimony.

Yeah, the whole thing was extremely fishy.

She was an extremely rich widow, and her daughters married barons from rival aristocrat families. Nuff said.
