This winter has been absolutely brutal in terms of my health.
Since October I have had some form of cold or corona for like 80% of the time.
Since Monday I had the 'rona against with 39.5° fever. I prefer when a sicknesses hits you like a baseball bat and then you just get healthy again to those where you just have a headache for a couple of weeks because it goes away so much faster.

I'd love to just stay at home over winter but I must go to the office in 33% of the time. I'm so sick of this. Once I go to work against I will start to wear FFP2 mask again and see if that helps. Air cleaners also claim that they filter out viruses so I might get one for the office. But I don't know how effective this is.

How was the winter for you Bernd? Have you been sick a lot?

I'd love to have some kind of mask that protects me from the environment. Active rebreather, noise cancelling, maybe limit my field of view, so I don't have to see the colleague next to me fidgeting around when he talks to someone on the phone.

Not a lot, but more than usual.

I haven't been sick even once.
I think it must be because of eating well and regularly visiting the sauna and showering ice cold after.

The mask also needs a speaker unit so my voice isn't all muffled by it. Also it needs to be comfy so I can wear it all day. So I think a helmet that is airtight around the neck would do the best job.

I'd prefer not to live as a software as a service. Although it is probably not worse than paying rent tbh.

How often do you go to the sauna? What is the demographic there? I imagine it's mostly old people.

always 3 times a week, always after working out

the visitors are well mixed in terms of age and gender, although maybe a third of the visitors are of an older age and male despite most people in the gym are young.
