Why?

Constant youtube shilling for their new music service, it's actually pretty ok if you are used to using youtube to listen to music and the algorithm knows songs you listen to. Also, music videos, which spotify doesn't have.

I don't think youtube can beat spotify when it comes to playlist generation and recommendation algorithm

I've never used spotify to find new music or new playlists, I only used it to listen to songs I already knew and liked instead of doing that, probably the stupidest way on earth to use it but that's how I've used it.

Spotify algo is very good, I recommend it. But you probably need thousands of hours of listening and a year old account to be able to fully enjoy it.
