This.
For example, not a single party in Slovenia is for reunification with Austria.

Then tell us. What is your opinion on gender quotas? And do you want more refugees in Poland? Leftist parties for some reason always want that. You can't have more employee rights without importing thousands of africans.

It's a matter not discussed at all, but I'm getting quite positive feedback to the idea when I bring it up. Especially from the northeast, where many work in Austria or know someone who does.

> What is your opinion on gender quotas?
so, The Left wants gender quotas in the Council of Ministers - I think the most important thing is that Ministers are experts in their respective fields with relevant education and work experience

it would be nice to see a 50/50 men to women ratio, but I can't imagine a situation where someone is nominated for a position based solely on their gender when a more qualified candidate is available (we had a female Prime Minister who I think was picked just so the ruling party could brag how progressive they are)

gender quotas on party lists in direct elections (parliament, local elections) would be a better idea

> And do you want more refugees in Poland?
if someone travels half the world from a war zone then I think it's fair to expect they follow the law like everyone else from outside the EU; but if they follow the rules and just want to live and work here then I'm fine with them (just yeet back all foreigners who commit crimes)

Ukrainian refugees are a different issue since we (and their other neighboring countries) are literally the closest safe place

nowadays Polish police kills people too, just last week it came out they crushed a guy's throat after arresting him, I don't know the details but it's not the first case when people mysteriously die after being arrested

why not? they make up 50% of society and bring a different perspective to the table - and if you want to write laws pertaining to women then at the very least you should consult with them (or better yet, they should be the ones writing it)

> different in a way that you want more or less of them?
I have Ukrainian neighbors who came to Poland after the war started and every time I see them I'm happy they're safe here; what I really want is for them to win the war so they don't need to flee here

it's not a matter of wanting them more or less, I just think the procedures for them to enter Poland should be simplified comparing to other immigrants

but to be fair, not so long ago women weren't allowed to vote or attend university, and those rights weren't graciously given to them by men, they had to fight for them and the mere concept of "men giving women rights" implies that women are less, like a pet that you indulge by giving it a treat

I wonder, why every single country had a patriarchal system, even non abrahamic countries had a patriarchy like system.. and the matriarchal societies were always inferior.

>let's flip the question - why shouldn't they?

Women should be in parliament only if they are worth to, they should not be in parliament only because they are women.

Imagine this scenario, you have a very high IQ AI, and dumb humans, would you preffer a equal and inneficent parliament between 50 AI and 50 humans, or a efficent and nonequal parliament with 100 AI?

Now i have a fucked up question for you, If women in Poland voted even more right wing - far right parties than men, you as a leftist, would you let them be 50% part of the parliament? (knowing that it would hurt your party) Be honest.

I don't believe that would be the case since the right wing politics is detrimental to women's rights - just look at Confederation's results (they're a more extreme version of PiS) - if only women voted then they wouldn't even pass the electoral threshold

Also public ads for parties should be forbidden. If someone bases his decision on some one liner he read on a sign in a street this person shouldn't be motivated to vote anyway.

It is well defined what an IQ test is. If it does not produce a bell curve around the mean of 100 it is not an IQ test by definition. Naturally you will have checks and balances to not give the right to create the IQ test to the ruling party.

Sadly yes, they will surely vote for the most welfare party. If a society is too divided ppl will vote for the party that most benefit their collective, this is why i dont believe in diversity. Turks votes or SPD no matter how conservative they are, same with moroccans with PSOE.

Democracy works, but you need a homogeneus society. Once you get rid of foreigners and disabled, you could have a perfect democracy, you also need to make votes public so everyone know if the election is rigged or not..

Vooting can works
