Guess I need to check my priviledge. I live in a big city and there is all kinds of bars here. Is there raves, concerts or anything similar where there could be a good mix of diff people in your area or is it a sundown town and people lynch every non-cis white male after 6 PM?

Most gays are not easily identifiable as gay. bill burr makes a joke by describing the stereotypical flambouyant, outgoing gay, which is generally the only one that clearly signals publicly. The rest are ordinary, and typically have the same look on their faces. The flambouyant ones, though, are typically depressed and anxious and hide it behind happy faces (get to know one, you'll find out soon)
