After the dust has settled. Is Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord playable?

It was more than "playable" from day one.
The only reason you think it wasn't is because it was nothing more than fancier Warband first time you played it.
It was nothing more than fancier Warband because it doesn't need to be anything more, but you didn't enjoy it.
You turned the game off and decided to put it aside, thinking that after some updates the game will feel different and that "click" would happen again, like the first time you played Warband or even the original M&B. You remember something special going on back then. King Harlaus. The butter. Varcheg at your mercy. Sleepless nights.
Years pass, but Bannerlord still does nothing for you.
You try playing Warband again but something is still missing.
That something is your youth, and you are not going to become any younger.
It will never feel like it did back then.
We are now mere foreign guests in Calradia.
