I had to walk around for ans hour to find something suitable to sit under. Insects start to climb up my legs but it is too dark to see what type they are. The grass was cut recently and bites into my shins. At least I cant see any mosquitos and the chirping sounds are nice. I give it 6/10

Bretty good. Thank you for watching me. The temperature has been pleasant since friday.

For the last two weeks I slept really bad and I notice how I get more and more tired during the week until I get ans full sleep on saturday. This thursday and friday was especially bad and I could hardly do anything at wörk because I couldn't concentrate.

 

I ordered ans cooling blanket two weeks ago but it still hasn't arrived. I bet they send it from china and might arrive too late to be of any use for me this year.

Cool water is pumped through the blanket. The water is cooled by a fan that possibly evaporates a part of the water or maybe it just blows over some metal fins with the water inside. I'm not quite sure. The reviews said that it works well but tends to break easily. But I figure as long as the mat doesn't leak I might be able to replace the rest with better parts.

Get a spray bottle, fill it with water, and spray your exposed skin with it while sitting in front of the fan.

so, best case scenario: you wake up under a heavy blanket of warm water, worse case scenario: you wake up wet, and worst case scenario: it electrocutes you? given it actually arrives

You are supposed to lie on the blanket.

It's impossible to be electrocuted since no power goes into the blanket. If anything leaks it will be most likely the cooling unit and I will probably put something under it until I trust it enough.

 

A likely case is that it does not cool enough, the blanket will be uncomfortable to lie on, and then it will break after a couple of weeks.

But it is a necessary step to take before I invest in a proper AC.
