probably mucus-filled sinuses, probably hard of hearing and almost noseblind. if that neighbor did nettipot a few times and went on a juice fast, the mucus would drain and the hearing and smelling would return to healthy, possibly even reduction of headache, if there is any (and sometimes there is)
