What movie(s) did you watch recently and how do you rate them? Today I watched "To Be or Not to Be" (1942) by Ernst Lubitsch and it was great. I rated it 8/10.

Actually it was "Flash"
Eh, I thought it would be much, much worse. 7/10 or even an 8. The multiverse topic is already a boring cliché

The Menu - visually pleasing but the plot is atrocious - 5/10

I have started watching it, but didn't finish it. Not to keen on continuing it seeing your rating... could you say in vague terms without spoilers what's so atrocious about the plot?

Just finished "The Draughtsman's Contract" (1982) by Peter Greenaway. A great movie in all aspects: the music, the dialogue, the acting, the scenery etc. If you love the lavish and an intriguing story, this movie is for you. I can't find any weaknesses, so I rated it 10/10.

without giving away any plot points - characters' motivations aren't conveyed well and make little to no sense to me; it was a frustrating viewing experience because it required so much of the suspension of disbelief
