there is a correlation between being an outcast and metal music. But I doubt that there is a correlation between being high-IQ and being an outcast. It is just that high-IQ outcasts have nothing else to show for than their IQ.

High-IQ Keins don't have to pride themselves with their IQ. They can just have fun as they are.

 

Metal fans tend to be overweight and afaik fat people tend to have lower IQs.

Filtered. Once you discover metal you don't need to listen to anything else. It has everything you need, and the amount of genres and exponents in each makes it an infinite journey through good music.

 

I've listened to most /mu/, top rym charts for multiple genres and once I listened to the best 20 albums of each year from 1960 to 2000 and even when I still like some punk, rock, hip hop and electronic music nothing compares to metal. I only listen to normie shit (aka. not metal) when I need to fuck some art hoe, and basic music like Radiohead and The Strokes makes it easy to come with some simple pseudo music analysis.

 

But when it comes to listen to good music, it's always metal.
