Scraping pennies because they not just reached the limit of growth but because advertisers leave them as it's not profitable to pay for youtube, pay-per-view, or whatever it's called, is a bad investment. And not because ad-blockers, since only a tiny fragment of users use em.

When a musician works (plays on concert) he gets payed. This is the main source of income. Selling records is fine, but it's stupid to "criminalize" copying, since it makes easier to reach wider audiences - who could go to their concert or decide to actually support them by buying the records.
