I wanted not the supercheap chink shit but also think that noise cancelling is completely unnecessary with in ears.
The silicone things that keep them in your ear often times fall off from the rest of the plastic because they got lose over time. Also I wish they would hold better in the ear. But from a technical standpoint I have no complaints.

No, cables are annoying as fuck, they get tangled easily, no noise canceling with cable in-ears either.
GermanyBernd2023-06-05 10:08:58 · 3yNo. 273570reply
well if i were to have earbuds without cables id lose them within a day

also fuck charging
GermanyBernd2023-06-05 10:11:52 · 3yNo. 273572reply
That’s a problem of yourself, not with the product. Charging is not ideal, but good ones can be used many hours without charging and I prefer them bc of the reasons I already mentioned.

are earbuds with NC better than normal headphones with NC? because they surely don't seem as comfortable for long time wear
GermanyBernd2023-06-05 13:51:36 · 3yNo. 273584reply
Depends, if they have a proper seal in your ear, then they're really good. Some earbuds also have memory foam instead of silicone tips, for example the Sony WF-1000XM4, that's even better.

this wireless earbuds are probably the most stupid invention I've ever seen, imagine the amount of people that lost their earbuds because they're wireless
GermanyBernd2023-06-06 19:55:00 · 3yNo. 273728reply
Wired earbuds never lasted more than a year for me. Usually more like half a year until I had to replace them. Then you got a cable break somewhere. usually at the plug. I bought at least two dozen wired earbuds in my life due to that.
Also I had to throw out one smartphone and one mp3 player because the 3,5mm audio socket got so worn out that it could not hold a stable connection anymore.

Wireless earbuds are way superior.
DenmarkBernd2023-06-06 19:59:08 · 3yNo. 273729reply
I've never experienced these things, usually wired earbuds to me last a considerable amount of time, and when it doesn't it was probably because I didn't care for them much and neglected them, but even then if you're breaking a wired earbud then it's not an issue because they are so cheap anyways, polar opposite to wireless ones where if you lose one you're down an amount of money greater than that of breaking a wired one.
GermanyBernd2023-06-06 20:01:53 · 3yNo. 273730reply
I have never lost a wireless earbud. When you are done using them you put them back in the case. You have to do that anyway so they can turn off and recharge. When you want to use them you take them out of the case.
What is so hard about that?

DenmarkBernd2023-06-16 21:20:30 · 3yNo. 275184reply
It's just that I have it in me to consider earbuds to be disposable to an extent and I can't be bothered to actually care for such peripherals similar to those after becoming used to wired earbuds
