Runny eggs with hash browns and hot sauce are god tier simple breakfast

I ate pancakes for breakfast nearly every day when I was in job corps. I never want to eat a pancake again and even thinking of them makes my stomach turn a little bit

have you ever had latkas? fried potatoes are good and that's an indisputable fact
PeruBernd2023-05-31 05:06:27 · 3yNo. 272862reply
That sounds good but for example when eating in your country they put hash browns as a side dish with sandwiches, that was too damn dry, fries would be better.

>latkas

I thought we were talking about potatoes only, not mixed with other things. No, I have not, but they sound good. And of course fries are awesome.

Leaving some dishes that use potatoes as main ingredients and pureé.

Yes potatoes are based, dog bless your andean ancestors for gifting us these tasty starches.

Like at mcdolans? I know they have the hash brown patties they serve at breakfast which are tasty but quite greasy. I prefer the looser style hash browns alongside something to moisten them up like eggs or cheese or sour cream.

As for the pics you posted:

I swear I've seen this before, no idea what it's called but I know I have seen a Peruvian post this before, whether it was here or pedochan I don't remember. It is a dish served cold iirc?

Not in mcdonalds, I went to a deli/bakery in Fort Lauderdale where the sandwiches were delicious but that side dish was disappointing tbh compared to the level of the sandwiches. Now that you mention, I did put sour cream to the hashbrowns to make them less dry.

1st is called causa rellena and is basically mashed potatoes with crab meat, avocado and other goodies.

2nd is potatoes cake, it also has cheese

4th is called carapulcra and is dry potato with peanut, pig, spices and little bit of chocolate (it has to be a chocolate called Sublime)
