It's perfectly normal to assume that once you hit a certain age that life loses its purpose and that your health deteriorates slowly be it physical or mental. The cutoff age to me where you're just sitting around waiting to die is 60, I'd be grateful if I ever reached that age personally I don't think I will, but it seems like there are plenty of people that go once they're 60-70 and especially for men that don't live as long as women do.
