My paternal grandfather died of a heart attack in his early 40s

My maternal grandfather is almost 100 years old and still alive and kicking, albeit with a terrible memory and he now lives in an old folks home, but he was pretty much independent until his early 90s

I wonder whose genes I got

You can get your genes tested nowadays.

But lifestyle is most important for stuff like this. Don't smoke, no or just small amounts of alcohol, eat your veggies, fruits and protein, exercise and keep learning stuff and you will be healthy for pretty long.
