But the post isn't about Ukrainians, it's about somebody from the legion of redditors who died defending only their delusions that everyone can fight with zero training and experience. I'd say it's acceptable to laugh at them even if the story is some made up bullshit with no relation to the reality whatsoever.

It doesn't, but I personally wouldn't endorse meaningless bravery. There's time and place for that, stupid deaths like the one described in the post aren't helping and may in fact endanger the cause.

People can be very dumb and illogical. Especially when they're doing something they are completely not ready for, especially under influence, terrified and panicking. So I don't know if it's propaganda or not but I do believe this is possible.
