Well the real answer is - the housing is dirt cheap. Its a dormitory. There are blocks in da commie block, each block has toilet, shower and 4 rooms, 2 of them are 19 sq. meters, and 2 are 13 sq

meters, rooms has different owners.

My room is that 19 sq. meters one, it costed me only a half million roubles, which would be 5 560 euros. I buyed it, its my propherty, cheaper than a used car.

I thought people lived there, because they're poor. But there are actually people like you who want to live there and buy such rooms!?

Nah, summer in Ziberia is awful, its very short, but very hot, up to +35, sometimes +40 Celsium, dust storms from steppes of Kazakhstan, tons of mosquitoes

is there anything you like about living in Siberia?

Actualy there is nothing good, climate is crappy, ppl are bydlo, prices are high and wages are low, there is no infrastructure: civilisation ends afters some 20km when you leave major city (for example look at the roadmap of my region, thats all roads and railroads we have here).

I doubt Poland has such places, living in Siberia is like living in Wyoming USA, you just live in the middle of fucking nowhere.

Just as they did it for the most of the time in Siberia (Transsiberian railway was built only 107 yrs ago) - via rivers, by small ships, boats etc, and for some urgent issues, like medical, well there are helicopters.

For a REAL offroad driving in Russia we mostly use this car, its UAZ - 2206, nicknamed Bukhanka (bread loaf). Production starded in 1965, and its still producted, you can buy a new one - 1 million roubles (11 200 euro)

That's because you have roads there. With cars and all this stuff. You should consider moving upstate to this Kedrovy or other town without connected roads.

I forgot to say. We have s.c. Zimnik here (from Russian Zima - Winter). It is irregular road, pierced throught snow, which works as long as there is snow and rivers are covered by ice.

So in winter supply convoys actuallcy CAN get to these isolated towns in Siberia and Far North. Sometimes these zimnik roads also have temporary road signs and gas stations, but riding zimnik alone, not in convoy, by a regular car is a pretty bad idea (but some risky guys do so. Also appx bout 20-30 truckers, risky enough to ride alone, not in convoy die in ice wastes every year) you would be riding througt the middle of nowhere, surrounded by ice wastes, alone also mobile phones mostly wouldnt work due to no signal

Based, I'm playing SnowRunner right now and there is multiple maps based around Siberia. It's either cold and dark with deep snow and breaking ice with too heavy loads or forestry swamp with deep mud that you get stuck in all the time, very suffering.

Well Zimnik are not that harsh, its just a temporary road, even sometimes with some road signs, but its bad idea to ride it alone, not in a convoy, cuz if you suddenly run out of gas, or some engine manulfunction will accure, you would stick in middle of nowhere, alone in siberian winter and would just freeze to death when gas to warm rhe cabin would run out

Well despite it looks like shit, its called "zuccini caviar" In Russia (Kabachkovaya Ikra) kinda tasty, and which more imoortant cheap stuff.

Basically its just squashed zuccini.

 

Doubt that there is such thing in Western World (but Poland as a former socialistic counrty may have it)

we have ajvar in balkans, which I guess is similar (also veggies pretending to be caviar) but it's made with peppers and some types also aubergines
