I went to a proper butcher's shop to get some sausages and minced meat instead of buying minced meat from the supermarket. It tasted so much better!

Second thought for this thread: I'm not one of these people who needs to eat meat with every meal or has a "fuck Greta" sticker on his car. But I still eat meat. I enjoy it and think it isn't healthy to be vegan. But it seems everyone around me is vegan, vegetarian or some kind of flexitarian, "I only eat meat once a week", "I only eat the 24g per week Greenpeace said I'm allowed to eat" bullshit.

I eat meat every day. I've never been to a butcher. I taste very little difference between organic and normal meat from the supermarket although I try to buy organic.
Once I bought organic nürnberger sausages but they had such a pungent pig taste that I switched back to the ordinary ones made with more suffering.

I usually get my meat from the butcher; my family also orders veal and beef from a ranch that does irregular deliveries.
There's some industrial sausages that are okay and I still buy but usually I don't buy packaged meat. Exception would be specifically aged expensive cuts.

I usually only eat meat I've raised myself (which is only chickens) or bought from other people in my village (pork and lamb mostly). This is solely for ethical reasons, I don't care about either health or the quality of nutrition. I'm not super autistic about it though, and I still buy normal food for the cats and the dog.
