Spotify has somewhat quality recommendations. I don't think other streaming services offer that (as quality costs money)

The scenario I imagined:

You were making a playlist by yourself and were looking for artists who turned out to be not available on Spotify (but are staples for the genre of Krautrock)

 

The scenario actually was:

Spotify can generate playlists for a particular genre which you did and you were upset about the playlist that got created not containing any of the artists you mentioned in the OP.
