Why? Incidentally I've been wanting to get a new monitor, too. I am currently on 24"FHD, so almost everything will be an upgrade. I was undecided between 27"QHD and 32"4K and after leaning towards a 32"4K most of the time, I have mentally settled on a 27"QHD now. But I haven't ordered anything yet. Yet I can't see me wanting an additional screen any time soon. Not sure, if I should even keep using the old one then. But if it's already here...maybe I could try it

For watching guides, teamspeak, looking stuff up quickly while gaming mainly.

I could do all that, yes. First, I will wait and see whether I can get the monitor of my deceased grandfather and whether it fits on my desk. If not, I’ll have to buy one.

No, some modern monitor/small TV. I don’t know exactly, my father suggested it. Well, I want it, because it’s free of course.

I don't have one and face the dilemma that my single monitor now is a 11 year old HD-TV and if I wanted seconds, my mind would need 2 similar pieces to enjoy inner peace.

So I'd have to buy 2 new ~40 inch TVs, which I won't until the old one kicks the bucket.

You can also consider ultrawide.

I use a 40" TV as monitor now and I like it.

My settis isn't as close as on an office chair and table, but also not as far as a couch and TV, so a 40" feels just right to play games, browse KC or watch something.

Isn't it a little hard to fall asleep when you spend so much time in your bed?
