today i dropped a modeling knife. was using it to take little bits off wood out of something i am working on. to say i dropped it is misleading, i put it down ons my bench and it rolled off and it fell and it went into my pinkie toe. it must have touched bone or something like that because it stood perfectly vertical out of my foot. i didn't feel it go in, really, and pulling it out again was nae wirries
the funny thing was that i'd only got it today. glad i learnu'd this lesson now, rather than when i finally (FINALLY) make the full transition to bone. the bucket in the close is starting to reek like death, thank god. for over a month it has sat there, apprentice like in its scentlessness. when the beetles come i shall simply take myself to the pet food shop and say to the vile polack behind the deask i'll say 'give me all the marrow bones you've got, and give me a discount for today i'm buying them in great quantiteas you vile polack' ans it qill worrk as i hope it will
sorry about spelling errors i also cut into my hands so they're all plastered up

update: my toe is hurting like hell but its ok because it isn't bleeding and im getting drunk every night to make the nicotine cravings easier to cope with. all things considered alcohol is better than cigarettes or weed, and £3 bottles of mulled wine from co-op are bretty gud when you have two of them
bump serious discussions

i dreamed i saw joe hill last night nah jokes i made a chicken saag last night by fucking its arsehole nah jokes i made a chicken saag last night by pureeing onions, garlic, a nice fat chili pepper, a good sized cube of root ginger, a bag of coriander leaves and frying it in a tablespoon of oil & knob of butter for about seven minutes.
when the paste was good and fragrant, merged with the oil and just beginning to reach the prime of its life i added a spice mix, more or less dominated by cumin but incorporating garam masala (1tsp), turmeric (1/4tsp), chili powder (maybe 2/3tsp), coriander (1tsp), black pepper (1/2tsp) and a shake of nutmeg, just to see if it would make a difference. salt imo can be added later but in proportions depending on your taste. mix and fry until its aromatic.
on top of that i put nearly-thin sliced chicken breast and stir fried it at a slightly higher heat than the masala. when the chicken was browned and releasing juices i stuck in about a tbsp of tomato puree and a good squirt of hot water, simply to add some liquid as i'd forgotten to buy tomatoes, canned or fresh. supposedly you ought to add them here, along with the puree, but i didn't as i'd forgotten to buy them.
however i had got a hold of spinach, so i pureed nearly the entire 250g bag, leaving aside a good handful which i sliced up a bit (only a bit) then dumped in the pot some time after the puree. the spinach will give the curry a bizarre appearance, it will be green and you will be happy.
don't worry about spinach adversely affecting the taste, that won't happen. instead put a couple tablespoons of full fat yoghurt into the curry and heat for another little while. i trust you judgment when it comes to knowing when enough is enough. however i would say to stir the yoghurt thoroughly before you add it, since it can separate in the fridge and you might get an overly liquid dose instead of the good stuff at the bottom. in any case the curry will still be good.
go and make the curry, then put some in an envelope and send it to ninewells hospital in dundee with instructions that its for andrew and that he should kill himself

thanks for replying to my thread mate. you know, across all imageboards i've ever posted on, over more than ten years, you could count the threads i've made on one hand, because i was always afraid they'd be left aside as boring and i've always been terrified of others' judgment

i care about the judgment of all people, because everyone may have something useful to say. internet people are no different from those you meet in real life, maybe more honest. generally speaking i look down on otger people, especially those who never put themselves up for criticism. roland barthes may not have said much of use, but one thing he did come out with that is more valuable than gold is the fact that the one who doesn't put his thoughts up for criticism thinks he knows everything worth knowing already
for my part, i take for granted that all people have some select area in which they exceed the average level of intelligence. its enjoyable to goad them into giving up their information, but sometimes they come out with things that are too profound, and its cuts to the core of me, so of course i respect the judgment of internet people

You a good lad m8, you know how you just sometimes intuitively get this feeling when reading someone's words just by the way he phrases it and the choice of words? You gonna be fine, no worries
