Would you hang up a frogs picture in your home?
Which one would you chose?

If it consoles you in any way: I wouldn't hang any pictures in my home. In the past I hanged pic related in my room though. r8 I got it after watching Clockwork Orange.

I don't like having any pictures at home. When I see some pictures in other people places it's like I hear "hey, this place is so boring and people living here even worse, why don't you entertain yourself with this picture?"

There is nothing wrong with trying to make you home look nice and cozy.

Images lose the spark, if you see them everyday.

That's very true.
But nothing is permanent. You can still get enjoyment out of the months that you enjoy looking at them. And even after that time they don't get less beautiful. You just have to actively remind yourself how pleasant they look.

That's why I never set a wallpaper on my PC. Then a couple of weeks ago I set a beautiful painting, but I quickly grew tired of it.
