SHE WAS A 30 YEAR OLD GIRL, YOU OLD CREEP!

It's probably more of a metoo thing isn't it, like him taking advantage of his position of power to have sex with a woman working for him? And is a married family man having an affair with someone still a shocker in politics or do people not give a fuck? This was always an American thing, don't think anybody in an European country would care
PolandBernd2023-02-11 18:47:33 · 3yNo. 254010reply
yep, that's it; her age doesn't matter, the real issue is the fact that he was her boss and the resulting power imbalance
ArgentinaBernd2023-02-11 19:32:14 · 3yNo. 254017reply
Shit, Canadian and American society are fucked.... What does that have to do with whether he's a good or bad politician?

At least they don't have 100% inflation lmao
ArgentinaBernd2023-02-11 20:10:52 · 3yNo. 254025reply
You're damn right, they have even worse problems.
GermanyBernd2023-02-11 20:21:43 · 3yNo. 254030reply
Sure buddy. Keep coping.
ArgentinaBernd2023-02-11 20:38:39 · 3yNo. 254033reply
You're the one coping, inflation is a joke when your parents are rich KEK.
Also America has a higher crime rate than Argentina, here shootings are non-existant while in America you can get shot while shopping just because some guy had a bad day.

>inflation is a joke when your parents are rich KEK.
quite the opposite lol.
when on inflationings, your legacy wealth is being disappeared.
but if you live hand to mouth, you don't even feel it, because you spend as you earn anyway.

Let me be clear, I wouldn't want to live in the US either, but laughing about the US and Canadia as someone who lives in a third world shithole like Argentina is just hilarious.

>laughing about the US and Canadia as someone who lives in a third world shithole like Argentina is just hilarious.
I dont want to sound rude but that logic is retarded. There are people living in Somalia or Venezuela who are way richer than the average citizen of a first world country.
NetherlandsBernd2023-02-11 21:14:13 · 3yNo. 254041reply
While the US definetely has terrible homicide rate, it's still better than this in Argentina (and Canada has several times less murders). Well, you're right that more of them done using firearms in the US, but does it really matter for you if you get shot, stubbed or killed by a blunt hit?
GermanyBernd2023-02-11 21:15:42 · 3yNo. 254042reply
>There are people living in Somalia or Venezuela who are way richer than the average citizen of a first world country
But they still live in shitholes. Also individual citizens which are the absolute minority (maybe 0,001% of the population) don't define the country. The majority are piss poor and live in shit conditions.
ArgentinaBernd2023-02-11 21:34:27 · 3yNo. 254048reply
You have a valid point there, but at the end of the day it's only oneself that matters and those people are not their country, they're not affected by inflation and live better than most people in first world countries.
GermanyBernd2023-02-11 21:41:59 · 3yNo. 254052reply
Back to the beginning:
>Canadian and American society are fucked
Depends on the viewpoint, I guess. From the perspective of a right winger who opposes liberalism, democracy and modernism, you could say those societies are fucked. Other people would say those societies are progressive. What I want to show is that you could say such a thing about every country, yes even Argentina and Germany. It's a concept I struggle personally with: there don't seem to be objective political truths, they are always filtered through our personal views and ideologies. What is the right way for our society? What should I support? These questions need to be answered, but sometimes I'm unsure how.
NetherlandsBernd2023-02-11 21:59:02 · 3yNo. 254060reply
I think that the right way is the way of survival, as it always has been with humanity. If significant share of the population is against the political system that is imposed on them they may uprise, things may get bloody thus undermining the survival. Therefore the society that manages to satisfy most is the least fucked, simple as.
GermanyBernd2023-02-12 07:46:41 · 3yNo. 254164reply
That is a reasonable approach, but what do you do, if you belong to the minority that rejects the ruling form of society? How do you cope with life?
NetherlandsBernd2023-02-12 13:50:16 · 3yNo. 254194reply
If your minority is big enough to make a difference in any way possible you try to do that. If not, well, there's no other way besides spending your miserable life in suffering. You can also try to promote your ideas among younger generations, this way your minority may become majority in the future. And if that's not your way either there's also mass suicide.
