While you're wrong, I can tell you from personal experience that all the wrong kind of people chose to become psychiatrists.
People that enjoy to exert power onto others, borderliners and narcissists even.
Luckily, many of them follow the money and hire with PR companies, but some of them take care of mental health.

Surely, when a psychiatrist talks about schizophrenia he means something totally different than the psychologist talking about schizophrenia.
They have a _very_ different theoretical foundation. The one bases his schizophrenia idea on medication and ECT zappenings, while the other is talking about cognitions and perceptions.
Of course, while the psychologist studied psychology in uni, the psychiatrist studied psychatry. They don't have anything in common, other than the beginning of the words 'PSYCH' which means ANALYZE
