I'd be wary of any potential foreshocks - big quakes like these almost always have them, so if there's a decently large but not so much earthquake the next couple days there's good chance a big one hits, otherwise it's low

looking at the map there's no reason to assume significant undercount coming from Syria, majority of affected area is still in Turkey
