I have absolutely no idea how the Dominican healthcare system looks like, so I can't comment on that. In Germany you start by going to doctors and therapists, go to clinics and possibly even take meds. Yes, it's hard to get a place somewhere, especially one that is covered by public healthcare, but it's doable. You could also try support groups (I guess kc is already kind of a support group to you).

The topics you post about, your lingo and after a while of observing people on imageboards, most of them get fairly easy to spot. It's all the easier, if there are only few with the same countryball of course.

I think you are letting yourself be carried away by what some people who do not live in the Caribbean or in Latam say.
