I don't enjoy things anymore, really. I watch 80s tv commercial blocks out of nostalgia but I almost start crying pretty quickly. Those images from a better time really drag me down to a dark place, ngl.

That's sad. You should start taking anti-depressants.
NetherlandsBernd2022-12-31 17:56:54 · 3yNo. 246260reply
What for? The good times are over and won't come back, no matter what chemicals I throw into my mouth to not care about that fact.

They are only over, because you suffer from depression. Everyone around you who is not depressed experiences good times.

I dunno about that. In fact, everyone seems quite unhappy.

Example:
Does this guy sound like a happy customer?

IB users are the worst examples, I would say 99% of them are depressed.

He was just an example. Check Tiktok if you don't believe me. Or just look up stats on how many people are on anti-depressants nowadays.

Here in Helsinki there are some places open and delivery company delivers 24/7

Citygarch, isn't it awkward to be facing a delivery driver who brings you burgers at 4AM? Is there no judgement in his look?
FinlandBernd2023-01-06 15:50:59 · 3yNo. 247778reply
Nod really, I pay for his service and he serves me, both parts are satisfied with the deal. You could flip the question around and ask me that isn't it awkward to face someone who needs to deliver burgers at 4 am?

The app also lets you put a check mark to tell them to leave the food bag at the door so in theory you don't need to ever face him, but I don't want my food on the floor so I always go meet them.

I always use that option in uber eats and they almost always ignore it
FinlandBernd2023-01-06 16:59:14 · 3yNo. 247789reply
Funny, here it is the opposite; they try to get as quickly as possible to the next gig so they ignore usually my request for personal delivery and just leave it at the floor, so I always go and ambush them at the door (the app let's you follow their location in real time so I know when they are getting close to the door) so they are not able to put my food on the filthy floor.

Certainly! Here is a short novel about Norwegians living on the moon where they design board games:

The year was 2045 and Norway had finally established a colony on the moon. It was a small community of only a few hundred people, but they were determined to make the most of their new home.

One of the main occupations of the Norwegian lunar colonists was the design of board games. They had always been a nation of avid gamers, and the isolation of life on the moon only seemed to increase their passion for the hobby.

The colonists had all kinds of creative ideas for new games, inspired by the unique features of their lunar environment. There was the "Lunar Lander" game, in which players had to navigate their spacecraft through the rocky terrain of the moon's surface. There was the "Asteroid Mining" game, in which players had to collect valuable resources from asteroids while avoiding dangers such as solar flares and micrometeorites.

But perhaps the most popular game of all was the "Moonbase Building" game, in which players had to work together to build and expand their own lunar colonies, using resources such as oxygen, water, and energy. It was a challenging and strategic game that the colonists played for hours on end.

Life on the moon was not always easy, but the Norwegian colonists were a resilient and resourceful people. And through the joy of gaming, they found a way to make the most of their new home on the distant lunar frontier.

Can you rewrite the previous story with more sarcasm

Certainly! Here is the same story with added sarcasm:

The year was 2045 and, somehow, Norway had managed to establish a colony on the moon. It was a massive achievement, considering the fact that they had no real reason to be there in the first place. But hey, why not?

The Norwegians on the moon quickly realized that there wasn't much to do, so they turned to their one true love: board games. Because nothing says "exciting lunar adventure" like sitting in a cramped, airtight room rolling dice and moving tiny plastic pieces around a board.

But the Norwegians were nothing if not creative, so they came up with all sorts of ridiculous board games based on the most mundane aspects of lunar life. "Lunar Lander: The Board Game" allowed players to experience the thrill of navigating a rocky, airless terrain from the comfort of their own living room. "Asteroid Mining: The Game" let players pretend they were brave space pioneers risking their lives to extract valuable resources from floating rocks.

But the crown jewel of their board game collection was undoubtedly "Moonbase Building," in which players worked together to build... well, a moonbase. Wow, talk about groundbreaking stuff.

In conclusion, life on the moon sucks and the Norwegians were desperate enough to turn to board games for entertainment. But hey, at least they have each other (and an endless supply of oxygen, I guess).

Anti-depressants serve nothing. I took them half a decade and they did nothing, my mental state kept going up and down as I improved or worsened my life, or just randomly (most times). Then in a great personal crisis I started to go out everytime I could, even with bad weather, walking in the forest, walking in the beach, running, going to cafes and bars. I disconnected myself from TV, computer and phone altogether and started a little garden, so I didn't have distractions and could go to bed on time. Then I was happy and took off anti-depressants. My illness was related to the way I lived my life and my own context, so the anti-depressants did nothing. This is the case with most people.
