I am ashamed to admit that I occasionally crosspost.
That being said, I have decided to leave kohl for good and I am currently under a transitional period from using kohl to using another imageboard, and I think this will benefit me greatly because I go where the serious discussions are and limiting yourself to only one board is not a very good idea for someone who spends far too long on the internet. I must try to diversify the userbase I interact with on a regular basis, this is crucial for someone who doesn't interact with people and needs varied information about many different subjects with many different opinions.
I suggest other people do the same, it's a sound strategy if you really do not interact with people in real life like me, being bound to a certain amount of people, even if they may be a considerable amount, can limit your worldview on things despite what you might think since every person is so different from eachother and have their own expertise on subjects. I consider myself an intellectual tourist, I've spent my formative years on krautchan having serious discussions and it helped me look at the world differently, but I feel like those days are over and attaching myself to a krautchan clone, albeit a much worse one, is only detrimental on the long-run.
It's all about the information you get from the internet, as much as you can adapt yourself to different online communities, the better you are at extracting value from conversations with people from certain communities, the better. I have no attachment towards kohlchan whatsoever, it is not krautchan and krautchan is dead, we must move on because there is no changing that.
