When was the last time you celebrated your birthday together with friends?

Me: Probably 12-13 years ago in 6th class or so.

I do not recall ever doing that.

The idea is a bit 'tarded.

1. prepare lots of food and alcohol
2. invite people you like
3. forbid people you do not like from coming
4. they eat, get drunk and talk while sitting at a table
5. social circle for the next year is established, now you need to come to other member's next b-day "party". Don't forget about presents for extra re-enforcement!

meh bleh. Dog bless working from home.

when I was 6 my parents invited some kids from preschool, then when I was 18 people from school brought me a cake and gifts as a surprise; but I don't know if it counts since I don't think we were friends and I haven't seen them in over 10 years

sounds fucking exhausting

at least you don't feel like there is something wrong with you (most days I don't care but sometimes it feels bad); also I'm not certain it's an aspie trait - sure, they have difficulties with social interactions, but it doesn't mean the lack the need for them

I'm not usually home to celebrate so celebrate it just wherever I am, but when I'm home I like it to be a low key affair with my family, just getting a takeaway and chilling out together :^) happy birthday Bernd, have a great day.
last time with friends? Oof, I guess this year with my work mates, we got absolutely hammered.

I was relentlessly beaten and bullied in primary school
also, school protected bullies against me because some teachers were butthurt about me being smarter than them so they encouraged bullies to pick at me (and blamed me for everything)
other kids were also bullied if they tried being friendly to me, so…

teachers can be so cruel, I remember similar stuff, with getting hit by bullies and teachers loosing their shit when I kicked off. One kid hit me over the head with a big stick and I turned him black and blue, they where horrified when my dad high fived me and we went to the cinema straight after, based daddo

The school was pissed but my parents documented every interaction with the school and took notes when I said things like that happened and brought them to the school, I remember the teacher went quiet when my dad started reading out the dates and incidents, that was when I really noticed how sort of regular it was. I was pretty young like maybe 10 so don't remember too much but I do remember getting left alone after that, nothing bad came of it luckily
