Tomorrow I will go to a rock concert with a girl. It's not a date or anything, she is a classmate of mine. I don't really wanna go, but I paid 40 bucks for the ticket and I don't think I have the balls to call it off. Can you give me any advice? I've never been to any non classical concert. That's why I initially wanted to go, to just try it out, make a new experience, but now I'm just so unmotivated and don't want anything to do with other people. Should I go, Bernd bros?
you should go; like you said - I'll be a new experience, and if you don't have a good time then you'll know that concerts are not your thing
I personally like going to concerts, even though people usually dance and sing and I just stand there motionless like a statue, but I always have fun
one crucial piece of advice - buy earplugs if you can; concerts are super loud and can damage your hearing (there are special earplugs for concerts that don't block the music completely) - I went without them last time and had tinnitus afterwards (it passed after a day, but was annoying as fuck, like I had a cricket in my head)
oh, and don't take too many pictures, people who keep flashing their phone cameras are annoying; be mindful of the crowd and don't get crushed; don't drink too much unless you want to keep going to the bathroom

do you have numbered seats or is it more of a general admission type of thing? because if it's GA you might want to arrive early
and don't bring any big bags or backpacks or anything made of metal (you might want to check avenue's website for rules and regulations)
I like music a lot but I am not sure if I would feel very good among as many people as there are in concerts.
Also, the way I picture it in my head, I would need to be very drunk in order to properly enjoy it, and many times unfortunately when I get drunk I puke a lot.
Going to a concert without drinking is probably not the best way there is to enjoy it.
Yeah I usually go by myself, previously I'd always bump into people I know there so I didn't worry, lately it's more and more often that I don't recognise anyone.
Breaks can be awkward (usually I pull out phone and "text" (actually: shitpost)) but since I'm extremely extroverted I don't have trouble having fun with complete strangers either.
I just wish I didn't disdain kein foids so much so I could get something out of it
IT WAS FUCKING AMAZING. I didn’t use the ear plugs I bought btw, yes, it was very loud, but still bearable. From the first note I recognized the character of a (rock) concert: it’s a prayer to the gods. That’s why it must be loud. People united in celebration, the musician preaching and leading the crowd. It was a fantastic spectacle really. This will be the first of many. A Bernd was turned into a concert goer.

If I look back at my virgin past I realise how many chances I didn't take because I thought it is hard to get laid. The opposite is the case. It is so fucking easy that Bernd overthinks it and ends up not making a move at all.
