Still, the Southeast, the South and the West are the fastest growing places both in demographics and economy. The Northeast and the Central North (you know, rust belt and shit) are dying.

How come the life expectancy is so low in Alaska? (However it varies strongly between the NW and SE regions).
Alcoholism? Native people dying out? Bears eating everyone? Accidents in cold temperature/forests etc?
As beautiful as the nature and the views are, I think it might be something you could easily regret if moving there. I'd like a 2-3 months stay I guess, I'm not good with the cold but at least weed is legal

>Alcoholism? Native people dying out?
I haven't done any research but I'd guess you are rather correct.
NW region is inhabited more by natives that suffer the usual problems.
I've heard that Anchorage is also a rather expensive place to live (in terms of buying homes etc)
Higher life expectancy also seems to correspond with places where there are military bases at least somehow.

The weather around Anchorage seems perfect to me. Much better than obviously having to get used to weeks above 30 C in summer we have here nowadays

The large part of Alask's population is Native American and then tend to be... on the depressive side of things.
That and Alaskans have the same issue as Greenlanders: no sun.

Strange, I thought it would be healthier living on the warmer southern coast. Why is the big area in southeast so red while having Florida blue?

California is dying.
The state is slowly dying of thirst as climate change drought takes its toll.
Libtards are starting to realize that handing UBI to the poor only turns them into lazy homeless people who create camps full of crime and filth.
The elites are buying up all the real estate, making it impossible to live there without either being homeless or being a rent slave living in a pod.
And despite being the forefront of American progessivism and multiculturalism, the state has a ton of racial tension that doesn't really exist anywhere else.
Conservative states, like Texans, are generally apathetic about race nowadays as long as the immigrants assimilate.
Californians on the other hand bring it up over and over again and just make the issue paradoxically worse.
People are fleeing California and its future is pretty grim.

Is there a reason for it to be focused on that area?
