space mining is boring as fuck, i tell you. First of all - all fucking asteroids are the same. Literally. If you saw 5 asteroids in your life, you have seen them all. They all fucking grey and boring, the only beauty you get is when there is a high contrast of shadows on bolders from the sun. But even that you won't see often because space mining is done with the shitties cameras possible, they are black and white. Most of the times you look at spectra lines and you begin to hate these squiggly lines pretty quick, because they are like a fucking castration of everything pretty, deduction, reduction of everything to pure fucking math of chemistry
then after you done marveling these squigly lines you get to mine shit. Oh, i am sorry, you don't mine shit, its done by robots who grab those rocks and just move them around from the surface of the asteroid to a floating inflatable basket in orbit of the asteroid. Like fuckng ants they carry those rocks to a bloated fly of a mother-carrier basket. and once its filled, they tighten the basket and piss off to the accumulation station somewhere in Sun-Earth Largange point. All you do is watch low frame rate camera, check spectra and watch for fuel consumption ratios of those boulder collecting bots. Nothing fucking exciting about it
