I have a Samsung S21, but I'd rather dumb down in terms of phone.

Feeling drawn to a Punkt. phone MP02. It can even use Signal. but it's been out a year already. I have no idea about their product release cycles, so not sure if waiting for next year changes anything.

Don’t those chinkphones have literal ads baked into them?

you can either:

1) disable them

2) strip them out

3) install an entirely custom ROM based on clean AOSP (or with Lineage patches of some sort)

yes but not pop up kind of ads, only stuff lilke a small add banner appearing in your file explorer view etc

in any case, xiaomi adphones are several multiples cheaper than an equally powerful phone from any of their competitors and I must say that only a bluepilled cuck would turn down such a deal because of a small nber of unnoticeable ads here and there
