>Is there any Bernd here that has experience with going on vacation alone?
Yeah, this summer I went on 2 week trip through Hungary and Slovakia.
>Do I just book a hotel somewhere and then go there?
Pretty much. Well I spent a lot of time driving around and hiking and cycling, on various locations. There's a shitload of stuff to see when you're on the road. But I'm assuming you're not going by car?
>What do you do all day in another cunt all alone? I have very little experience with going on vacations since my parents never do that with me so I don't know how this works. Any tips appreciated.
In the cities, I'd just open a map and look at what I can see. Plan in advance, are there specific activities? Try to meaningfully connect the points. For example, in Budapest, I finished day 2 with the Gellért spa. In the end, you will find that you don't have enough time for everything so don't worry about not knowing what to do.
>yes, i recommend jugendherberge because its cheaper and go there by flixbus because its cheap af and if you travel over night you can sleep in bus / train and save 1 night at a hotel
This, when I was going around with my brother we'd use flixbus (and comparable services – some lines I recall were served by arriva), find hostels, sleep there. Which also solves the question, what to do. You'll always find company in those places for the evening, at least.
>i recommend prague, theres a lot to see and full of drunk tourists that you can spend time with should you feel lonely
Prague is gud yes
t. beener of there with brother
>What specifically? I tried visiting other cities on the germany. But I find it rather boring to look at architecture.
well if you check what's happening on specific days you can catch extra stuff
there's also museum of gommunism which is interesting to see (and very kc tier)
a big part of sightseeing for me is also eating and drinking, try the local stuff, prague is good place for that (relatively cheap, tasty, not particularly exotic tho - budapest was better for that)
