Hello extremely, American anons.
I am the person behind "post the awoo one" meme.
I have to confess something... I am from Russia.
In 2014, I failed my first semester exams, so I had nothing to do. I ended up on Krautchan, as I was trying to learn how to live abroad. That's where I originally asked "post the awoo one" as a reply to some Momiji pic - in Russian, the word for howling is the same as for crying/whimpering ("выть") so a dictianory was no help for me.
Withing 10 minutes, some German posted the picture of Momiji in "awoo" mode -- so i reposted it. I reposted it to 4chan as a "search is called back" answer to myself.
Within 24 hours after I posted my question on Krautchan and reposted it to 4chan, something happened. Some other KC poster found a "make own newspaper" template about "local wolfgirl goes awoo"...
... and 2½ years later, "my" meme indeed took part in the 2016 elections.

and I am responcible for creating the mascot meme, "Awoo". "Awoo" was very popular meme in 2016 electi0ns. There was a meme campaign "Make Anime Great", in a sense.
So, whenever The White House sez "remember, Russians hacked our elections", they mostly refer to me.
as for those e-mails, well, those had been copied to Clintons' "personal" hardware, easy target for a 4chan level haxx0r
