What kind of characters does your town have?
There's an old dude who sits on the bench outside the store everyday, he keeps staring at everyone. DONT LOOK AT ME

We've got a blind retard who thinks he can sing but he sounds terrible.
He often sings near the main station.

There's was a haitian guy who was mentally ill and walked around naked all over the place. I last saw him a few years ago but don't know what he's up to now.

Literally me in few decades.

My neighbour is kinda weird. He says hello to everyone and comes out in underpants to smoke cigarettes.

But I don't judge.

We had a crazy babushka always doing nothing at the same street corner, bothering people who passed by and never remembering them (I had about three close encounters and it was like first time, always), I believe she was a sort of a witch as she usually begged to "help" her with god knows what, then, if you agreed, she would get a Mike Tyson tier grip on your forearm and tell you the entire story of her life, which different from time to time, of course.
Last time I met the witch I was lucky there was a kopeyka coin lying on the ground, I said "look, a coin!" and she reached for it with the arm she held me with, so I managed to escape.
Soon after she died.
Felt like a fairytale character who escaped from a witch.

maybe she died and is now slowly taking over your body...

Like a proper German. The notorious German stare is known and feared worldwide.
Is staring considered rude in Sweden? In Germany it's a big part of the culture and a great way to intimidate the foreign people.
SwedenBernd2022-07-28 22:36:34 · 4yNo. 203993reply
think it's rude most places
back when I wasn't a pussy I would stare people out to spook them just for fun
GermanyBernd2022-07-28 22:45:06 · 4yNo. 203994reply
Ok next time I'm outside I will just stare everyone down that walks past me until they look away or are out of sight. Nodded at friendly grandpa on bicycle today but I mean he was smiling I don't mind that, it's just these unfriendly NPC tier stares that annoy me
GermanyBernd2022-07-28 22:50:14 · 4yNo. 203995reply
And btw it's mostly old Germans who are staring that way, walked past a group of 3 old Turkish men and they didn't even look in my direction, they were just minding their own business. Walked past a middle-aged Asian couple and they were looking on the ground and talking to each other. If someone says hello or smiles or nods or something I can accept that, but just staring with pissed of face at someone strange I consider very rude

We have this older, I think homeless guy, looking like your typical hobo, who usually spends his time sitting on public benches always sipping on a can of coke. His nickname is "Cola" and he's supposed to have won a huge amount of money on lottery, but unfortunately went mad due to the affluence that he just couldn't deal with. He's sometimes seen in convenience stores buying another can of his favorite soft drink, but he's also very careful not to be touched by the shop clerk when handling they money, by placing the nickels on the counter and then retreating back until his can of coke is finally his.
