Hung out with a friend I made at work who had quit recently the other day. We went to a asian market , as we both have a interest in foreign languages, and then got some food to eat at a restaurant.
We got along pretty well but at one point he asked me if I "had any other friends" and what I did with them? I lied of course and said I do, but still I'm kind of offended. I didn't beg this guy to hang out, I just asked him to hang out since he seemed interested. It's not like I was texting him or anything either other than just a confirmation or reply to things he sent me.
Maybe I'm overreacting since he did say we should hang out at his college campus some time. I don't know if I'll hang out with him again though tbh, I'm not desperate or looking for pity friendship. I'm perfectly fine being alone.
