I moved to the States several years ago. And there's an interesting thing I noticed. There are plenty of soviet-born people that are still reminiscent of the Soviets. And what's more interesting, they perceive russia as a successor to it and want it to take over Ukraine.
People that live here for ten or more years root for russia cause they somehow tie it to the country where they grew up. This is so ridiculous!
Some more shit that I heard from them - "Zelenskiy should give up!", "Is it that hard for Ukrainians to do what Putin wants?", "I think it's only the beginning, soon russia will show it's full power.", "It was so nice in the Soviet Union, you're just victim to western propaganda!".
Is soviet mentality really indestructible? Is death the only salvation for these brainwashed zealots?
PS - younger people couldn't care about russia and they know how shitty it is.
