I was jokingly making him help me do my job by telling him to grab stuff for me that I needed before I let him into office that he needed to get something from that I had a key to. I made him wait around for 5 or so minutes do that before he walked off.

 

I opened the door for him after that though.

But it happens to everyone, maybe in a day or two he will forget it and it won't be a big deal unless you decide to keep being rude towards him.

This thread proves that you have some consideration towards him regardless of what you did, though, so I don't see you as a rude person.
