The only reason I got one was because it offered me a few hundred in bonus cash back if I spend x amount of money in y months which I was going to do anyway.

 

So now I just get them when they offer me free money if I spend the amount I was going to spend anyways. And I get 1-2% back on all purchases . It's free money if you aren't retarded.

living in a first world country, and not using credit, it's almost unbelievable. I don't know if is a intelligent decision.

I don't think Europe has "credit scores" like in the US. Even here credit cards are pretty pointless and credit score only matters if you want to take out a loan.

I don’t know about Europe But here and I think in every Latin American country we use credit scores. It would be weird that they don’t use that tool.

I guess to entice you into using it and spending more. Credit card companies charge vendors a fee for processing transactions. So when you get 1% back on purchases you spend more and they get to more money from the fees they charge.

they are bretty great because there are no fees involved (not even currency exchange)

 

BUT

 

it is targeted to zoomers and the app for the smartphone is quite annoying

 

overall i rate it quite comfy
