I don't know when you asked or who are you but I feel like I should point out that one of the known internet community destroying tactics is spamming a board in order to convince admin you need to be given moderator privileges, that you want to abuse.

I only want to ban flooders on my board, that's all. If you don't want to give some of us moderator privileges just implement anti-flood features and have more active mods.

bernd.group isn't the type of IB which has board creation and BOs. I dunno the exact structure of staff, if there can be a mod with "jurisdiction" over only one board, or only globals exist. Or if it can be implemented.

I have some ideas over how to implement self-moderation (by building up reputation if you've been active in reporting stuff in the past, at one point system will start automatically trusting your reports) but needs to be finetuned a bit & adjusted so that it isn't easily gameable

I think your self-moderation system can still be abused. Someone can report correctly enough to get trusted and then abuse of it when that happens. I think human mods are always going to be needed.
