useful things gained from 30 years of digital age and billions invested
* google maps
* email
* internet bank

what we traded it for
* dramatic increase of depression, anxiety, loneliness, self-harm, and suicide
* decrease of sex, falling birthrates, and sexual perversion
* millions of comfortable jobs lost to automation
* myopia epidemic
* all mass consumed music, tv, movies, literature turned to utter shit
* rebirth of populism

>* dramatic increase of depression, anxiety, loneliness, self-harm, and suicide
perhaps the real worry is that america is in decline. we aren't having this in europe
>* decrease of sex, falling birthrates, and sexual perversion
and consider the following: this includes subhuman masses, and midling reddit tiers. only intelligent people are still having the same amount of children, this is net positive
>* millions of comfortable jobs lost to automation
millions of useless jobs for NPCs who never do anything on their own. this is good actually. meanwhile inventive people can make easy money off their own ideas.
>* myopia epidemic
meh, this kinda sucks but could be worse
>* all mass consumed music, tv, movies, literature turned to utter shit
its dont, there's never been so much good music as now, you just don't know where to find it
>* rebirth of populism

I agree with OP imagine if we lived under communism and the digital technologies were only available to specialized institutions

the rise of the internet coincided with a lot of other trends. How do you know all those things are caused by technology specifically? i.e. are you equating correlation with causation or not?
