During its best years, the Soviet Union had domestically produced jeans (they were pretty ok, have some in my collection), bubblegum, and most importantly - cola. The beer and cigarettes were cheap. We were not hated by the world, if anything, there was huge interest in mysterious Russian soul during perestroika. The factories producing domestic technologies were still there, although lagging like 7 years behind the rest of the world but whatever, we'd have our own NES clone by 1993. We already had ZX spectrum clones.
I want back, late USSR > any other form of Russia.

This is an big mistake as communism not necessarily means russism, that's what they WANT you to believe. Some socialist patriots are suffering from this on the Ukraine, they have less than zero sentiment for current Russian regime yet are labeled traitors, I know they told me.
